“We originally bought this Citroen C4 new from a dealer, which has lasted up to about ten years as a second family car. It has been a great car, but if you have a major problem with parts, they can be expensive to repair. We were told the parts had to be ordered from France, and it would have cost over $2000 to repair the car from the local Citroen garage.
A friend recommended calling Shaun, and he said to bring it around, and we will put it on the ramp and do some tests for you. Put the car on the ramp, and Shaun did the tests and confirmed what the Citroen garage had diagnosed. However, he said an independent garage could fix it for about $1200, which is $800 saving on the main garage.
However, Shaun recommended not to repair the vehicle as it was older. It was not worth ploughing another $1200 into an older car. He gave us a few numbers to call and said he could leave the car in his yard to think about it. We called a few of his competitors, and no one could match Shaun’s price, and the service was good. Therefore, we ended up selling the car for cash and decided to buy a Toyota the next time!”
